Cold traps KGW-Isotherm Shx, SLxx, etc.
Cold traps are devices that condense all vapors except permanent gases into a liquid or solid. The most common goal is to prevent the vapors removed from the experiment from entering the vacuum pump, where they can condense and contaminate it. Especially large cold traps are necessary when removing a large amount of liquid, for example, during freeze drying.
